Adding more gravel to a bad base won’t fix your pothole problem
We start with scarifying the pot hole areas and then grade your driveway, giving it a “crown” which will give proper drainage and helps the rainwater run-off. Ditch paths are cleaned and if needed we add base rock and compact that into the ground creating a solid base for the top layer of crushed rock. The top layer of rock is typically 3/4” crushed granite or crushed basalt rock, that is drop spread with our dump trucks. We then compact the driveway with our 10 ton roller.
